Endurance sporting events are attracting more and more fans. In France, nearly 2 million people each year attach a bib to their jersey and test their limits in often difficult events.
These mass outdoor events (running, trail running, mountain biking, cyclosport, triathlon, multisport raids, extreme raids, etc.) bring together from a few hundred to several tens of thousands of participants and require a rigorous prevention and medical assistance system that is adapted to each event.
Dokever constitutes a medical team dedicated (emergency physicians, sports physicians, osteopaths, surgeons and anesthetists, nurses, physiotherapists, podiatrists, first aiders, etc.) as well as a logistics and administrative team. A global accident report of the event is sent to the organizer in order to be able to report to the prefectural authorities and improve safety over the editions.
• Weather routing:
Because the weather is one of the main criteria impacting the rate of use of the health service for an event, particularly in the mountains, marathons and trails. Fine weather routing at D-7 and D-3 helps reduce situations where resources are exceeded.
• Crisis unit:
As soon as a life-threatening prognosis or death is announced, the remote crisis unit in Dokever provides support in order to produce a detailed and enforceable report on the accident. Dokever is immediately available to the Police and Justice authorities to assist you in this ordeal.
• COVID screening:
Dokever is able to provide you with antigen or PCR screening tests, as well as protective equipment for samplers. Finally, Dokever can assist you with the human resources necessary to carry out and/or supervise these tests.
