DPC-eligible training courses, dedicated to
emergencies for doctors, nurses and first aiders.
High-fidelity "patient" simulator
and training courses in the great outdoors.
Outdoor sporting events bring together thousands of participants every year. To guarantee a controlled first aid system, teams (doctors, nurses, first aiders) need specific knowledge and skills.
To meet this need for specialization, our training courses dedicated to the management of a vital or serious functional emergency in a wild or isolated environment, sometimes take place in the wilderness or at the specific locations of major events, with the medical equipment and materials of real-life conditions.
Thanks to our DPC-label (No. 7848), these training courses can be supported via Continuing Professional Development.
They include a high-fidelity patient simulator, with video recording. This mannequin reacts to care from a medical and feeling point of view, which also encourages caregivers to consider human relationships when caring for a person in shock. The opportunity to strengthen team cohesion through scenarios as close as possible to real conditions.
They also bring together multidisciplinary teams, different health professionals: doctors, nurses, first aiders, to work on exchanges between each specialty and better care for the injured.
Dokever Formation has designed a program dedicated to the management of serious vital or functional emergencies in the context of outdoor sporting events. A training course for doctors, nurses and first aiders.
Combined with a high-fidelity simulation teaching device, the objective is also to individualize the training to strengthen the medical knowledge and skills required during these exceptional events:
• Training in conditions as close as possible to reality.
• Feedback and a debriefing as the basis for learning about safety in multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Validation of adapted procedures and emergency protocols allowing nurses to be autonomous while waiting for reinforcements.
